1. What kind of school did you go to when you were a kid?

I attended a public school for my education from preschool to sixth grade. During my time, it was the best and most well-known primary school.

2. Did you go to a co-educational school?

I did, actually. I have fond memories of that institution. I made many new pals, both male and female.

3. What was your most favorite subject when you were a kid?

When I was young, I enjoyed math a lot. I consistently performed well on mathematics examinations.

4. Who was your favorite teacher?

My Math teacher, Mr. Thong. By getting us involved in a variety of activities correlated with our subjects, he made every class interesting and entertaining. The activities were fun for my classmates and me.

5. Where do you study now?

I studied in Foreign Trade University. It is located in Ha Noi.

6. What’s your university/college like?

It is among the top colleges in my nation. It features a sizable campus with around 10,000 graduate and undergraduate students of business-related majors.

7. What do you study in university?

I study business administration. For someone with my level of business savvy, this training is quite ideal.

8. What is special about your major?

Basically, it has a lot to do with how corporate operations are managed. Since it deals with technology, the economics, international competitions, and developing markets, it is relevant and of societal significance.

Of all the subjects at school, history has always remained my favourite. In every history class, we were introduced to many key historical occurrences. It was a dull topic for some of my classmates, but I really liked it.

I recall at our first meeting, our teacher handed out a syllabus, which served as a roadmap for the key topics we would cover each week. Several novels and other reading materials were given to us as homework. We discussed notable personalities, including soldiers, philosophers, and artists. We also discussed the ancient peoples' religions, traditions, and customs.

Unlike many other subjects, history requires not only a good memory but also the ability to connect all the dots of past events to draw important lessons. 

It was a difficult topic for me and my classmates at the time since memorizing so much of it took up so much of our time. But I find history to be quite fascinating. I've always been interested in how people lived in the past. I've always been curious to learn how our generation's past shaped who we are now. It intrigues me.

Honestly, I had a lot of trouble in school for a variety of reasons. I didn’t excel at school and had to struggle a lot. However, French was the subject I always had a strong interest in and was highly motivated when it comes to studying it..

As studying languages is widely popular in Vietnam, I started taking French lessons when I was pretty young. However, it was challenging for me to grasp all the significance of our courses' extensive writing and dictation when what I truly wanted to learn was how to speak and communicate with native speakers.

The reason why I was inspired to study French was because of my trip to France when I was 8 years old. I enjoyed my time there and learning French was the only way I can connect deeper with the local people.

With the help of my teacher, Mrs. Hoa, I finally made progress when I was around 15. Her lectures were full of excitement despite the fact that she was also extremely strict. We were all expected to work hard in class and do well on our tests. However, she was such an inspiration because she was very passionate about it.

Even if I do not thoroughly comprehend the language, I always loved listening to its intonation and tone. When I visited France, I was able to utilize the French skills I had learned in school, and the language came alive. All of my early effort had paid off.

3. Part 3 IELTS Speaking: Chủ đề Education

Câu 1: Do you think single sex schools are still relevant in today’s world?

Pretty much, actually. Although many would claim that schools which exclusively permit either females or males to study can be seen as somewhat old-fashioned, numerous studies have shown that the academic performance of single-sex schools tend surpass schools for all sexes. I think this is because there are fewer distractions and therefore, students can concentrate much better on their study.

Câu 2:  What are the benefits of a boarding school?

As a former student of a boarding school, I can tell there are a lot of benefits of attending one. In certain nations, kids as young as 8 years old are sent away to boarding schools, many of which provide lots of extracurricular activities including golf, photography, and fashion. Children are not only given a chance to discover their hidden talents but also an opportunity to make lasting friendships with both their instructors and peers.

Câu 3: What are the advantages of studying a distance learning course?

There are several advantages come to my mind immediately. Distance or remote learning is becoming more relevant these days as it provides learners a sense of flexibility. Not only is it far less expensive than attending a university with significant tuition costs, but it also allows you to study at your own pace. I think many people find this style of learning more comfortable than attending lectures or tutorials because it helps to boost their self-discipline and self-motivation.

Câu 4: How are education priorities today different from those in the past?

Today's world is changing quickly, and education goals have changed along with it. I think that education in today's environment creates a bigger chance for a greater skill set that weren't available before. For instance, schools and universities now offer more specialized majors and courses than they did in the past. Modern technology, including computers and other devices that weren't around in the past, has also been included in the program .

Câu 5: Is a good education more important to a boy or a girl? Why?

I think it is equally important for both boys and girls to pursue a good education. In today's culture, women have repeatedly demonstrated their ability to handle duties and obtain positions that were previously solely held by men in a variety of sectors, including politics, science, athletics while males have started working in certain fields that were formerly thought to be reserved only for women, like fashion, housework, and cooking. It is obvious that anyone can only live up to their fullest potential if given an opportunity regardless of their sex.
