Answer.
The other day, while scrolling through Tiktok, I stumbled upon Figure 01, an AI robot developed by a company called OpenAI. It was a video showcasing the robot doing chores such as taking out the trash and organizing kitchenware.
Now, I've seen my fair share of robots on social media – the ones that dance or do tricks – but this one felt different. What really grabbed my attention was how the robot communicated. First, not only did the robot perform tasks, it also explained in a logical way why and how it functioned. In addition, the robot spoke with natural-sounding voice patterns, almost indistinguishable from a human being. It's a bit like science fiction coming to life! You could ask it a question, and it would respond accurately, just like having a conversation with a real person.
Overall, this glimpse into the capabilities of Figure 01 left me feeling optimistic about the future of AI. It's a powerful tool with the potential to revolutionize many aspects of our lives.

Out of all the social media platforms out there, I'd have to say Instagram is the one I frequent the most. I check it daily, usually during my commute or when I have a spare few minutes. It's become a bit of a one-stop shop for me, combining entertainment with ways to stay connected and learn new things.
Firstly, Instagram is a great source of visual inspiration. I follow a bunch of accounts dedicated to photography, art, and travel. It's like having a constant feed of beautiful images that spark my creativity and fuel my wanderlust. Scrolling through these visually-appealing posts is a fantastic mood booster, especially on a gloomy day.
Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, Instagram helps me stay connected with friends and family who are scattered around the globe. The ability to share photos and quick updates on stories keeps me in the loop about what's going on in their lives, even with the miles separating us. Birthday celebrations, travel adventures, funny pet antics – you name it, it's probably on someone's story! It fosters a sense of closeness and makes me feel like I'm right there with them, even if virtually.
Overall, Instagram is more than just a social media platform for me. It's a source of inspiration, a window into the lives of loved ones, and a mood-lifter all rolled into one. It helps me stay connected to the world around me in a visually engaging way, and that's something I truly value.

Do large media organizations have too much influence?
Answer: I don’t think so. In my opinion, people are becoming more and more aware of media bias these days. There are so many different news sources available now, so it's easier for people to compare and contrast information and form their own opinions. So, while large media organizations still have a lot of power, I don't think they have complete control over public opinion anymore.
Vocabulary.
Bias (noun): Sự thiên vị
Compare (verb): So sánh
Contrast (verb): Đối chiếu, tương phản
Form (verb): Hình thành
At what age are children generally allowed to use social media in your country?
Answer: There's no strict law about it in Vietnam, but most parents tend to wait until their children are at least teenagers before letting them use social media platforms. There are a few reasons for this. Firstly, social media can be a real time drain, and parents worry it will distract kids from their studies. Secondly, there's a lot of inappropriate content online, and parents want to protect their children from being exposed to it.
Vocabulary.
Strict (adjective): Nghiêm ngặt
Drain (phrase): Sự bào mòn, sự rút cạn
Inappropriate (adjective): Không phù hợp
Be exposed to (phrase): Bị tiếp xúc với
Do you think people will use social media more or less in the future?
Answer: That's hard to say for sure, but I think social media is here to stay. It's become such a big part of our lives for communication, entertainment, and even finding information. However, I do think the way we use social media might change. Maybe there will be more emphasis on privacy, or perhaps new platforms will emerge that offer different functionalities. Social media is an ever-evolving landscape, so it will be interesting to see what the future holds!
Vocabulary.
Here to stay (idiom): Sẽ tồn tại lâu dài
Emphasis (noun): Sự nhấn mạnh
Privacy (noun): Sự riêng tư
Emerge (verb): Xuất hiện
Functionality (noun): Chức năng,
Ever-evolving (adjective): Luôn thay đổi
Why do you think bullying on the internet has become so widespread?
Answer: There are a couple of reasons why cyberbullying seems to be more common these days. Firstly, anonymity online can embolden people to act differently. Behind a screen, they might feel invisible and less accountable for their actions. This can lead to saying things they wouldn't dare say face-to-face, making online interactions more cruel and hurtful. Secondly, social media platforms can create a breeding ground for negativity. With carefully curated feeds and highlight reels, it's easy to feel inadequate or left out. This can lead to jealousy and a sense of competition, which can unfortunately manifest as online bullying.
Vocabulary.
Cyberbullying (noun): Bắt nạt trên mạng
Anonymity (noun): Vô danh
Embolden (verb): Làm cho táo bạo hơn
Accountable (adjective): Chịu trách nhiệm
Face-to-face (adverb): Trực tiếp
Breeding ground (phrase): Môi trường thuận lợi
Curated (adjective): Được lựa chọn cẩn thận
Inadequate (adjective): Không đủ tốt
Manifest (verb): Biểu hiện
Should social media platforms be regulated by the government? Why or why not?
Answer: I believe the government should have more regulations on social media. As more and more children are using online platforms, regulations could be helpful in curbing online abuse and creating a safer online environment. Social media companies could be held more accountable for the content posted on their platforms and take stricter action against bullying behavior.
Vocabulary.
Regulation (noun): Kiểm soát
Curb (verb): Kiềm chế
Abuse (noun): Lạm dụng
Accountable (adjective): Chịu trách nhiệm
Bullying (noun): Bắt nạt
What is the most important medium for people in your country?
Answer: Platforms like Facebook and Zalo are used for everything from staying connected with friends and family to following news and entertainment. It's a way to share information, express yourself, and stay up-to-date about what's happening around the world. Because of such immense popularity, a number of companies in Vietnam even use Facebook and Zalo as their communication platforms. The interface of these applications is simple, easy to use and beginner-friendly.
Vocabulary.
Platform (noun): Nền tảng
Express (verb): Thể hiện
Interface (noun): Giao diện
Up-to-date (adjective): Cập nhật
